Two South Florida High Schools both in Coral Springs Florida were hit by a plague of violent social media threats this week forcing school officials and Coral Springs police to respond with a heavy police presence at all Coral Springs Middle and High Schools.
Coral Springs has a population of over 120K people and is located just west of Fort Lauderdale Florida about ten minutes from the famous beaches of Fort Lauderdale.
Coral Springs was recently voted one of the safest and nicest places in the United States for young families to raise their children.
Coral Glades High School and JP Taravella both in Coral Springs were the targets of the threats and two students at JP Taravella were arrested this week for major felony arson for trying to start fires in an occupied building.
